HHO fuel cells (hybrid hydrogen oxygen) provide hydroxy gas to support in combustion. The HHO is generated from water. The idea is to use HHO to support the burn of gasoline. Instead of having to cook the unused gas in the catalytic converter, you get a more finish combustion cycle. This not only reduces your emissions, it provides a lot of further and added gains that genuinely preserve your engine and provide more miles per gallon. So if you like the idea of added HP further and added MPG and cleaner emissions read on.

Do HHO fuel cells draw more power than they produce?

Would you drive down the highway with your windshield wipers on, if it gave you an further and added 5 MPG? Well the good news is you may spare yourself the amusive looks on sunny days, because running your windshield wipers won’t give you further and added MPG, but an HHO cell will, and it pulls less power than those wipers. No one will recognise your running on HHO unless they look underneath the hood. One of the great gains from your HHO is that it breaks down carbon, and removes it from your engine. The remotion of carbon deposits alone will primarily increase fuel efficacy and how long your engine lasts. You may generate sufficient HHO with 12v at 1 amp to apply a well built HHO cell. I heard these HHO cells get hot how do I control that? Oh and what when it comes to cold weather? Do these HHO cells freeze?

Here’s how you beat the heat. You controll heat with the amount of catalyst ( baking soda ) and or with a PWM (Pulse Width Modulator). Speaking of catalysts your running a water for fuel system, so freezing weather could present some problems. Beat the freeze by adding 20% denatured alchohol to your fuel cell. Now you won’t freeze up. Either of these catalysts support with the production of HHO.

Some more basic tips.

You want to check your water level each 3 hours. Your burning water for fuel, so the water level will diminish. What happens is as the water turns into HHO is burned by the vehicle the water level goes down. The problem with this is that the cell then has more room in it for hot HHO. Have you ever stuck a hot empty coke may in cold water? If you have you’ve seen it implode! I want you to get long life out of your fuel cell, so keep it full and stick with the plans. These in truth add MPG and are simple to make. The materials may be purchased for less than a modest dinner for two. The gains far outway the cost to make. Your bank account the Earth and your vehicle will thank you. Stick with the plans and take pleasure in added MPG.

Useful reference, helpful diagrams and illustrations

This was required text for a hybrid/fuel cell class I lately took at a local community college’s substitute fuel engineering program. For the most part it without doubt or question explained the systems, components, hardware and software that are integrated in hybrid/electric and fuel cell vehicles. The only drawback to this book is that the technology is encouraging very speedily so this book is obsolete in a lot of chapters, I suspect that future editions will be significantly updated. It does cover the fundamental principle very well and provides a strong starting point for students fascinated in substitute fuel technology.

Very Useful for a Beginner

I am impressed with this book. It walks you through the fundamentals of the engineering science and market.
I felt a little like being at school when doing the tests at the end of each chapter…..but it does make you re-read the percentage you did not actually understand.
